    The World Bank and the Asian Infrastructure Development Bank (AIIB) International team visited the state to review the progress and progress of the Government of Gujarat's most important project in the field of education, Mission School of Excellence. Respect when located. The experts of this team held a meeting in Gandhinagar in the special presence of Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel.

The Mission School of Excellence is aimed at making government and grant aided schools competitively and structurally as well as providing advanced physical facilities like smart classrooms, stem labs for children.

Under this project, in the next five years, Rs. 10,000 crore will be spent. Funding of 500 500 million has been approved by the World Bank and the entire project has been declared effective. Not only that, the World Bank is proceeding for an additional 250 250 million, thus the World Bank's 50 750 million will be found in this project. The process of securing 250 250 million in funding with the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank - AIIB is in the final stages. A total of 1 1 billion in funding has been secured.

This is by far the largest World Bank-assisted project for the social sector in any state in the country. For the first time in the world, AIIB is doing an education project with Gujarat alone.

Respect. Chief Minister Shri Bhupendrabhai Patelji said that this "Mission School of Excellence" project would give impetus to the commitment of providing best education to the children of the state. He also thanked the World Bank and AIIB for their assistance in this project.

 In the next 3 to 4 years, this "Mission School of Excellence" will directly benefit about one crore students. As a result, the foundation of primary education in Gujarat will be strengthened. The "Mission School of Excellence" is the country's first such project at the national level to improve the quality of education on a large scale and will prove to be a beacon for the entire country.

Under the "Mission School of Excellence", in the next two phases, 15,000 large primary schools and 4,000 secondary and higher secondary schools will be upgraded to a total of 30,000 schools in the next 1500 years. At present 90 lakh students are studying in about 80% of the schools, which means that 90% of the total children are studying. And it could reach 4 lakh (50 per cent) in the next five years.

 School Transformation under “Mission School of Excellence” - Civil Infrastructure, Digital Infrastructure, Smart Classrooms, Computer Labs, STEM Labs, Language Lab, Online Assessments, Remedial Classes, Holistic Education Schools in all selected primary, secondary and higher secondary schools under School Transformation. Many such planned activities will directly and indirectly directly benefit about one crore students in the next 4 to 5 years. And the foundation of primary education in Gujarat will be strengthened.

System Transformation - Under System Transformation, continuous training and strengthening of teachers will be done by involving all the institutions of education department including SSA, GCERT, STTI, GSHSEB, GIFT, Text book Board. And Grade Appropriate Learning Outcomes will be ensured with accountability.

The entire project will be monitored online in Gandhinagar by the state-of-the-art Command and Control Center for Schools, including Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. A special school excellence dashboard has been prepared for this. This Command and Control Center is the first initiative in the country in the field of education.

The entire project was briefed by the Secretary of Education and the World Bank's Education Specialist in India and accompanying officials. The meeting was attended by the World Bank Country Director New Delhi and other officials from Japan, Russia, Bangkok, Taiwan and AIIB through video conferencing.
