Purpose of Manav Garima Yojana 2022
To uplift the economic status of artisans / persons living below the poverty line, this scheme has been started from 11.9.95 in place of the earlier self-employment scheme. 142 Individuals engaged in various activities, such as hawkers, vegetable sellers, carpenters, etc., whose annual income is up to Rs. 27000 / - for rural areas and up to Rs. 36000 / - for urban areas. Tools and equipment range from Rs.4000 to Rs.6000. It provides self employment opportunities to BPL families. Manav Garima Yojana, Chief Minister of Gujarat, Vijay Rupani has made provision for providing extraordinary benefits to the needy. The priority of this scheme is to help the economic condition of the Scheduled Caste citizens.
Key points of human dignity પ્લાન
This is a welfare scheme of Gujarat Government which has been started especially for the people belonging to Scheduled Castes. The Government has launched Manav Garima Yojana 2022 for the purpose of launching this scheme to provide financial assistance to the Scheduled Castes to start their own business in the State.
The Manav Garima Yojana has been introduced with the objective of encouraging the people of Scheduled Castes to become self-employed and self-reliant.
The scheme provides benefits in the form of financial assistance and others. The benefits are outlined in the details below.
Financial assistance or equipment is provided for starting a small business or self-employment under the Human Dignity Scheme.
Under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs. 4000 / - will be provided for purchase of equipment without obtaining bank loan.
