1) If the wrong demands and persistence of children are not curbed in time, then in the end you will be helpless = Kaurav
2) No matter how strong you are, but with iniquity, all your knowledge, weapons, power and blessings will be in vain.
3) Do not make the children so ambitious that they misuse the knowledge to destroy themselves and invite destruction = Ashvatthama
4) Never promise anyone that you have to surrender to the unrighteous = Bhishma Pitamah
5) Abuse of wealth, power and authority, and with the wicked, self-destruction in the end = Duryodhana
6) Blind person- i.e. money, alcohol, ignorance, infatuation and work (soft) power in the hand of blind person also leads to destruction = Dhritarashtra
7) If a person has knowledge tied to conscience, victory is sure to come = Arjuna
8) You cannot always succeed by creating deception, deceit and deception in every action = Shakuni
9) If you successfully follow the policy, religion, and deeds, no power in the world can defeat you = Yudhisthira

महाभारत को पढ़ने का समय न हो तो भी इसका नव सार सूत्र हमारे जीवन में उपयोगी सिद्ध हो सकता है :-
1) संतानों की गलत माँग और हठ पर समय रहते अंकुश नहीं लगाया, तो अंत में आप असहाय हो जायेंगे = कौरव
2) आप भले ही कितने बलवान हो लेकिन अधर्म के साथ हो तो आपकी विद्या अस्त्र शस्त्र शक्ति और वरदान सब निष्फल हो जायेगा = कर्ण
3) संतानों को इतना महत्वाकांक्षी मत बना दो कि विद्या का दुरुपयोग कर स्वयंनाश कर सर्वनाश को आमंत्रित करे = अश्वत्थामा
4) कभी किसी को ऐसा वचन मत दो कि आपको अधर्मियों के आगे समर्पण करना पड़े = भीष्म पितामह
5) संपत्ति, शक्ति व सत्ता का दुरुपयोग और दुराचारियों का साथ अंत में स्वयंनाश का दर्शन कराता है = दुर्योधन
6) अंध व्यक्ति- अर्थात मुद्रा, मदिरा, अज्ञान, मोह और काम ( मृदुला) अंध व्यक्ति के हाथ में सत्ता भी विनाश की ओर ले जाती है = धृतराष्ट्र
7) व्यक्ति के पास विद्या विवेक से बँधी हो तो विजय अवश्य मिलती है = अर्जुन
8) हर कार्य में छल, कपट, व प्रपंच रच कर आप हमेशा सफल नहीं हो सकते = शकुनि
9) यदि आप नीति, धर्म, व कर्म का सफलता पूर्वक पालन करेंगे तो विश्व की कोई भी शक्ति आपको पराजित नहीं कर सकती = युधिष्ठिर
यदि जीवन में इन सभी सूत्रों से सबक नही लिया तो जीवन मे महाभारत होना संभव ही है।
મહાભારત વાંચવાનો સમય ન હોય તો પણ તેનું નવું અમૂર્ત સૂત્ર આપણા જીવનમાં ઉપયોગી સાબિત થઈ શકે છે:-
1) બાળકોની ખોટી માંગણીઓ અને જીદને સમયસર કાબૂમાં લેવામાં નહીં આવે, તો અંતે તમે લાચાર થઈ જશો = કૌરવો
2) તમે ગમે તેટલા બળવાન હો, પણ જો તમે અધર્મ સાથે હશો તો તમારું જ્ઞાન, શસ્ત્રો, શક્તિ અને વરદાન બધું જ નિરર્થક થઈ જશે = કર્ણ
3) બાળકોને એટલા મહત્વાકાંક્ષી ન બનાવો કે જ્ઞાનનો દુરુપયોગ કરીને તેઓ આત્મવિનાશને આમંત્રણ આપે = અશ્વત્થામા
4) ક્યારેય કોઈને એવું વચન ન આપો કે તમારે અન્યાયીઓને શરણે જવું પડે = ભીષ્મ પિતામહ
5) મિલકત, સત્તા અને સત્તાનો દુરુપયોગ અને દુષ્કર્મીઓની સંગત અંતમાં આત્મવિનાશની દ્રષ્ટિ આપે છે = દુર્યોધન
6) અંધ વ્યક્તિ - એટલે કે પૈસા, દારૂ, અજ્ઞાન, આસક્તિ અને વાસના (મૃદુલા) અંધ વ્યક્તિના હાથમાં સત્તા પણ વિનાશ તરફ દોરી જાય છે = ધૃતરાષ્ટ્ર
7) જો વ્યક્તિ વિવેક સાથે જોડાયેલ જ્ઞાન ધરાવે છે, તો વિજય ચોક્કસપણે પ્રાપ્ત થાય છે = અર્જુન
8) તમે દરેક કાર્યમાં કપટ, કપટ અને ટીખળ કરીને હંમેશા સફળ થઈ શકતા નથી = શકુની
9) જો તમે નીતિ, ધર્મ અને કર્મનું સફળતાપૂર્વક પાલન કરશો તો દુનિયાની કોઈ શક્તિ તમને હરાવી શકશે નહીં = યુધિષ્ઠિર
જો જીવનમાં આ બધા સૂત્રોમાંથી પાઠ ન લેવાય તો જીવનમાં મહાભારત શક્ય છે.
