Foster parents plan
Eligibility Criteria:
Under this scheme all orphan children between the ages of 0 to 18 years living in Gujarat will be eligible to benefit children whose parents do not exist. Children whose father has died and whose mother has remarried will have to produce a marriage certificate stating that the mother has remarried.
The standard of assistance
DBT is paid monthly assistance of Rs. 2000 / - to the next of kin who takes care of the children.
Documents to be submitted
Any one of the child's birth certificate / school leaving certificate
